Delete and Retain Personal Information
Last updated August 2026 · Applies to users of Swacredit in India
1. Overview & Data Lifecycle Principles
Swacredit enforces a strict data minimization governance strategy designed to ensure that personal data is maintained only for as long as needed to deliver our revolving credit line services, mitigate anti-money laundering risks, prevent systemic fraud, and remain compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Digital Lending Framework, and the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) 2002. Once the contractual processing purpose is fulfilled or mandatory statutory retention periods expire, user records are subjected to irreversible cryptographic erasure or permanent anonymization.
2. Specialized Preservation Timelines
To uphold complete institutional transparency, we structure all user data into dedicated operational storage lifecycles:
KYC, Credit Assessment & Financial Ledger Records
This includes government identifiers such as PAN and Aadhaar details, credit bureau evaluations, account disbursement records, and repayment logs. In compliance with mandatory RBI directives and PMLA rules, these financial files are securely stored for a statutory term of five (5) years following complete loan settlement or formal account termination.
User Profile Credentials & Preference Data
This category encompasses primary registered mobile numbers, verified email addresses, application settings, and workspace preferences. This data remains active throughout your tenure with our platform. Upon account closure, it is moved to an isolated, encrypted offline partition for a required administrative window of five (5) years to support potential regulatory audits.
System Performance & Diagnostic Data
This covers application crash logs, raw device telemetry, system health metrics, and hardware attributes. To assist our technical staff in enhancing service performance, fixing technical glitches, and maintaining network stability, diagnostic records are retained for a maximum duration of two (2) years from the date of creation.
3. User-Initiated Erasure & Automatic Cleanup
Under Section 12 of the DPDP Act 2023, users maintain full authority over their digital information, backed by two distinct execution pathways:
User-Initiated Deletion Requests
Users possess the formal right to request the total removal of their personal files from our live application servers. You can submit a deletion request from your registered email address directly to business@swasakthiflexifund.com. Our compliance team will inspect and complete the erasure within fifteen (15) working days, exempting only specific files required for ongoing tax audits, legal disputes, or statutory fraud prevention.
Inactivity-Triggered Purge Routine
Any user profile that records zero session interactions, transactions, or credit activity for a continuous span of eighteen (18) months will be flagged for automated profile removal. We will transmit a prior reminder notice via registered email or SMS exactly thirty (30) days before initiating permanent file destruction.
